Sharon Zambito has legions of fans all over the world who have perfected the basics of cake decorating and learned exciting new techniques from her wildly popular DVD series and classes. Thousands have seen Sharon's appearances on television cake shows, and have attended her popular classes and demonstrations at cake workshops, shows and conventions throughout the U.S.
Sharon's warm and engaging style, along with her clear instructions and sense of humor, make you feel like you have a real friend in your kitchen – a friend with loads of experience who knows exactly what she's doing.
Sharon's cakes have been published in national magazines and websites, including American Cake Decorating, Mailbox News, Cake Central, Edible Artists Network, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and more. She has appeared on two episodes of TLC's Ultimate Cake Off. Her Introduction to Cake Decorating TV series plays on public television. She is a member of the International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES) and often serves as a judge at cake competitions, including the prestigious Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show.
Sharon's love for cake decorating started more than 25 years ago with an introductory class at a local cake shop. She was a registered nurse at the time, but soon her hobby developed into a passion, and cake decorating became her life's work. A born educator, Sharon founded SugarEd Productions in 2007. And for the last ten years, she has shared her love of sugar art with decorators of all skill levels.
This SugarEd online school is the next step in bringing Sharon's energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to decorators of all skill levels eager to learn more. In this supportive SugarEd community, Sharon joins forces with some of the cake world's most renowned experts and innovative new talent. And she brings together all of your favorite features - video instruction, photo tutorials, recipes, blogs, sharing communities, photo galleries, shopping and more – into one convenient, safe and exciting world of ideas, information and fun.

Paula Milne
Moderator & Assistant Administrator
Paula was bitten by the cake decorating bug when she was a young child, watching her Grandma, who was a professional decorator, bake and decorate cakes. She is now the Owner of P's of Cake Custom Cakes, her home based cake decorating business, which she started in 2010. Paula is an accomplished Cake Decorator with over 15 years experience, and continues to learn as much as she can. She specializes in providing her customers custom designed cakes, gourmet cupcakes, and a variety of cake pop creations.
Paula actively serves as a member of SugarEd Productions Web Team, and teaches cake decorating 101 courses out of her home. She is a wife and mother to three children and lives in Saskatchewan, Canada. When not busy with her cake decorating, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and a variety of other crafts.
Cristy Russell
Games & Social Director
Cristy suffers from a split personality: computer geek by day and cake decorator by night. During the day, she teaches people to use specialized software. At night she enjoys trying out the latest techniques in the cake world. She has been decorating for approximately 7 years, and took her first cake decorating class when she was 15. Many many years later, she rediscovered her love of cake decorating and through that found SugarEd. She became a quick fan and friend of Sharon's.
When not working on cakes, Cristy enjoys entertaining. She has a great love of planning showers, parties and events. As social director, Cristy will be responsible for games and a various activities in the SugarEd online community.
